HEALING HARP is the brainwave of pioneering International Harpist Bethan Myfanwy Hughes. As a professional harpist and through her innovative harp therapy; Bethan tours and performs extensively through out the UK and Internationally. She has recorded and performed for National and International TV and Radio stations and has become one of the most celebrated and documented harpists in the world.

For 16 years, Bethan has dedicated her life to helping others through compassionate care, therapeutic music and harp therapy; using it in Hospitals, Hospices, Prisons, Special Schools, Mental Health,Specialist Nursing care, Pain Management, Recovery & Rehabilitation, Health Profssionals, British /American Armed Forces & Coalition Troops, Emergency services, PTSD, Stress Management, Disabilities, Learning difficulties, Professional Sports, Multicultural Projects, Local & International Charities, International and United faiths, Alternative Therapies and much, much more.
As a modern harpist, Bethan has torn down the traditional barriers of the harp world and medicine. Through her music and ground breaking harp therapy, this pioneering work has won the praise of both critics and public all over the world.
Due to prime interest in 'Therapeutic music, Music and health and music and healing', through the harp. Bethan is forever researching. Undertaking lecturing harp therapy at conferences, with leading specialists and at specilaist concerts through the UK, Europe and America.
In 2006 Bethan also became a solo artist for the charity 'Music in Hospitals', performing around the UK for special audiences, creating joy through live music. Since 2006 Bethan has performed for over 580 specialist Harp therapy concerts for the charity.
Renowned for being 'The People's Harpist', Bethan is very proud and honoured to have supported, helped and played for so many national and international charities over the last 16 years.
Raising hundreds of thousands of pounds through her music, voluntarily given her time, performances and harp therapy to help others in need.
Her compassion has received great interest and she has received major national and international awards for her work with UK and US Armed Forces, Cancer & Leukaemia, Terminally ill and Palliative Care, Special needs, Multicultural arts, Mental Health, Plan International and the United Nations World Food Program
